“Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Praise), the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” Rev 5:5
I can heart the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and his roar reverberating over the nations and how the tribe of praise is arising in unity to carry out her roar of praise. I want to delve a little deeper into what it means to be a part of this tribe.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the PRAISES of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” 1 Peter 2:9
From the children of Israel winning battles with trumpets and singing, to Moses’s sister Miriam’s song and dance of praise, to King David’s undignified heart of worship, history displays an array of peculiar people joining together with one heart doing one very important thing! PRAISING!
Why is Praise so important for us to do? I believe it’s because we were made for this! We are that peculiar people! It’s in our dna, we are praisers! Praise changes atmosphere’s, fights battles, leads us to victory, shifts hearts and minds, and lifts the downcast soul! Worship on the other hand, ushers in the presence and glory of God, and brings out the lover in us. (They go hand in hand if you were wondering!)
God is restoring the Tabernacle of David through individual Houses of Worship. He’s restoring the Tribe of Praise in this hour. “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:” Amos 9:11-12
Scholars think Israel will rebuild the temple, a temple made with human hands. (Which may also happen) But know ye not ye are the temple!!!
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” 1 Cor 6:19
You are a House of Worship! You are Gods building and He dwells in you! You were made for praise! Join the roar of the Tribe of Praise! You have been built up in Christ Jesus for this very moment!
